"Thank you so much for a wonderful and successful trip, and for looking after us so well. The scenery was spectacular, the wildlife encounters equally memorable, and your experience and expertise ensured we returned home with stories to tell. I know Beth was particularly charmed by her red squirrel sightings, and I'll never forget tantalising glimpses of wildcat in that remote snow-covered valley. A rare privilege and magical experience. It has really whet my appetite, and given half a chance and a little more free time I'd be back next week to stake out the ruin and the bridge. I just hope I get made redundant soon! " -
Charlie Elder
Adrian took Charlie and his daughter to the Cairngorms to search for the elusive Scottish wildcat. Luckily for them with light snow falling, Adrian managed to track down some cat prints which led them to a wildcat. The experience we have of tracking wildcats and understanding their habitat and prey requirements is accumulating and we now feel confident in offering a truly memorable experience. Charlie has since written an article about their experience which was recently published in the Independent newspaper.
Hilary and her friends had a huge list of 'want to sees' which ranged from otters, red squirrels, red deer, pine martens, golden eagles, white tailed eagles and ospreys through to whales and dolphins. A tall order I know but we started with a flourish experiencing red squirrels in the forestry and a family of otters on the River Braan. We subsequently saw a host of red deer, black and red grouse and many of the other species in the wild.
